Lobuche lies close to the popular glacier called Khumbu glacier and has two main peaks called Lobuche East peak (6119m) and the other is Lobuche West peak (6145m).
The trek to approach for Lobuche East Peak Climbing starts from the renowned valley called Lukla after a short 35 minutes flight from Kathmandu and follows through colorful   Khumbu Area’s Sherpa villages. Namche Bazaar, the renowned ancient trading post between Nepal and Tibet, Tyangboche with significant Buddhist monastery set in the backdrop of classic Lhotse view, Pangboche the highest Sherpa village, and Dingboche the gateway to Island Peak are the villages passes the trekking trail for lobuche Peak climbing.
Lobuche peak offers spectacular view of high Himalaya ranges of Khumbu valley including Everest, Lhotse, Amadablam, Makalu etc. lobuche peak lies close to khumbu glacier in Everest Region offers an attractive climb summit. There are two distinct peaks, lobuche East and Lobuche west. Although they are associated by a continuous ridge, there is a sharp gap and a much distance between two peaks. The true Lobouche peak east is quite prominent and is reached by downward into a marked cut off and climbing step snow slopes to the top.
Among the trekking peaks in Nepal, Lobuche East Peak Climbing is one of the the most technical peaks climbing even if it is only at the altitude of 6119m from sea level. Lobuche east climbing required a excellent uses if using expeditions styles of rope, climbing involves some step and slipperu rocks slabs and snow slopes to reach south west ridge, which is just below the glacier, which is along with the high camp, then the final expeditions climb would be sharp and exposed ridge which leads to the real summit.
Spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) are the best months and season for this trip. Although Lobuche East Peak Climbing can be taken during winter, the cold temperature might not be suitable for everyone.
 
Outline Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive at Tribhuvan international airport (1300m.) Overnight at Hotel.

Day 02: City tour and trek preparation day (1300m) Overnight at Hotel.

Day 03: Kathmandu to Lukla by flight (40 min.) & trek to Phakding (2652m), 3/4 hours, Overnight  at Guesthouse.

Day 04: Phakding to Namche (3,440m) 6/7  hours , Overnight at Guesthouse

Day 05: Acclimatization & Namche Bazzar exploring day., Overnight at Guesthouse.

Day 06: Namche Bazzar to Tengboche (3,867m) 5/6 hours. Overnight at Guesthouse.

Day 07:  Tengbouche to Pheriche: (3867m) 5/6 hours, Overnight at Guesthouse.

Day 08: Acclimatization & Pheriche exploring day., Overnight at Guesthouse.

Day 09: Pheriche to Lubuche: (4928m)4/5 hours . Overnight at Guesthouse.

Day 10: Lobuche to Gorakshep (5170m) Everest Base Camp (5364m) 5/ 6 hours, Overnight at Guesthouse.

Day 11:  Gorakshep to Kalapathar (5545m) Lobuche (4940m) 5/6hrs, Overnight at Guesthouse.

Day 12: Lobuche to Base Camp (4865m)  3/ 4 hours , overnight at tent camp.

Day13:  Base Camp to High Camp (5600m) 3 / 4 hours, overnight at tent camp

Day 14: Summit day-Loubche Peak (6119m) and back to base camp 8 /9 hours. Overnight at tent camp.

Day 15:  Base Camp to Pangboche (3930m): 5/6hrs, Overnight at Guesthouse.

Day 16: Reserve day in case of bad weather.

Day 17: Pangboche to Namche Bazaar: 7/8 hrs (3440m). Overnight at guest house.

Day 18: Namche Bazaar to Lukla: 6-7 hrs(2800m). Overnight at guest house.

Day 19: Lukla to Kathmandu by flight (1,300m), Overnight at Hotel.

Day 20: Departure

DETAILS ITINERARY

Day 1

Arrive at Tribhuvan international airport (1300m.)

Upon your arrival at Tribhuwan International airport in capital city of Nepal Kathmandu, a representative from CORE TREK will pick up you and take to hotel. After that we take you to our office to visit and also to meet our crew. In the evening there will be a welcome dinner where you will be enjoy authentic Nepali cuisine, Overnight at Hotel. (Meal Included: Dinner)

Day 2

​Kathmandu sightseeing and trek preparation (1300m)

After breakfast we start a guided tour to most of the famous attractions in Kathmandu which are listed in UNESCO world heritage sites. We visit the historic Durbar square, World famous Hindu temple called Pashupatinath, Bouddhanath,The Monkey temple(swayambhunath). After the tour we get our equipment checked by our climbing leader, get introduced to fellow participants and discuss the trip at our office CORE TREK. Overnight at Hotel. (Meal Included: Breakfast)

Day 3

​Kathmandu to Lukla by flight (40 min.) & trek to Phakding (2652m), 3/4 hours

After breakfast you will be taken to the domestic terminal of Tribhuwan International airport for early morning flight to Tenzing Hillary Airport at lukla. Upon your arrival at lukla, you can meet our other crew members and after some packing and arrangements, we will start our trek through the beautiful and unique village of Lukla until we reach Phakding. You have only short hike for this day (3-4hrs) trek. Overnight at Guesthouse. (Meal Included: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

Day 4

​Phakding to Namche (3,440m) 6/7 hours

After breakfast we walk through remarkable rhododendron woods blooming in various colors, pine forest and then along Dudh Koshi river ending our journey at Namche Bazaar. After walking an hour we come across Mt. Thamserku (6608m) on our right. Our continue walking until we reach the entrance to Sagarmatha National park, Namche bazaar the gateway to Mt. Everest and the main business center of this region. On this day we cross the bridge called Hillary Bridge. It is an uphill walk from Hillary Bridge to Namche Bazaar. Overnight at Guesthouse. (Meal Included: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

Day 5

Acclimatization & Namche Bazzar exploring day.

Today is a day for rest due to altitude sickness, we believe in gradual acclimatization to prevent altitude sickness so today we stop in Namche Bazaar. By itself Namche Bazaar is full of attractions of culture, norms, values its uniqueness. Check out the museum dedicated to Sherpa history and the people’s role in helping trekkers –there is a whole exhibit dedicated to Hillary. While in the village we can visit the Edmund Hillary School and Khumjung Monastery, Overnight at Guesthouse. (Meal Included: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

Day 6

​Namche Bazzar to Tengboche (3,867m) 5/6 hours.

We trek towards Tengbouche. Although the trekking definitely gets tougher and difficult at this point the rewards are heart touching includes many more breathtaking views of Himalayan peaks in their glory: Everest, Nupse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam and many more is known as one of the most wonderful place in the Himalayas where one of the famous Buddhist Monastery is situated. Overnight at Guesthouse. (Meal Included: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

Day 7

​Tengbouche to Pheriche: (3867m) 5/6 hours.

After breakfast we trek towards Pheriche. This day trekking includes many more breathtaking views of Himalayan. On the trip towards Pheriche, we can have mesmerizing views of Lhotse and AmaDablam to distract us. We will go through the descent path when we will across the Dudhkoshi River through suspension bridge after that we will start to climb and we reach to Pangbouche village. From there we precede towards pheriche our destination, Overnight at Guesthouse. (Meal Included: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner). 

Day 8

​Acclimatization & Pheriche exploring day.

Pheriche is a famous stop for trekkers. The village is beautiful. We spend day at Pheriche for acclimatization. We take day hikes too in the major parts of this area. Overnight at Guesthouse. (Meal Included: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

Day 9

​Pheriche to Lubuche(4928m). 5 /6 hours.

This day after breakfast we start on the straight path for some hours then climb up to Dugla. From here,we climb up to Chupki Lhara where we find an array of stones with prayer flags used as memories to Scott Fischer(American mountaineers)  and 10 time Everest submitter Babu Chiri Sherpa. We continue to the Khumbu Glacier and find ourselves facing many great peaks-Khumbu ,Lingtren, Pumori and Mahalangur Himal. The route then eases off as we follow the valley to Lobuche, Overnight at Guesthouse. (Meal Included: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

Day 10

​Lobuche to Gorakshep (5170m) Everest Base Camp (5364m) 5/6hrs.

To reach our next stop, Everest Base Camp by following the Khumbu Glacier. The trip offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, especially where the path is forced to rise to cross a glacier. We stop for lunch at our camping place: Gorak shep later in the afternoon we make our way to famous mountain base camp called Everest Base Camp. On the return we back with same path to Gorak Shep, Overnight at Guesthouse. (Meal Included: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

Day 11

​Gorakshep to Kalapathar (5545m) Lobuche (4940m) 5/6hrs,

Early morning we walk up to Kalapathar (black rocks) 2hrs walking to the top offer beautiful sunrise view and breathtaking panorama of Mt. Everest. Back to Gorakshep for lunch and trek to Lobuche base camp, overnight in camp

Day 12

​Lobuche to Base Camp (4865m): 3/4hrs

After walking half way we begin to follow steep ascent path to reach Lobuche Base Camp. Although the path is quite rocky we don’t have the feeling of tiredness. This rocky path moves along the bank of Lobuche glacier. While trekking we can enjoy the mesmerizing views of Cholatse, Tawache, Ama Dablam and many more. Accommodation will be having camp food cooked by our professional cook, overnight at tented camp.

Day 13

​Base Camp to High Camp (5600m) 3/4hrs.

We start our trip after breakfast. From Loubche Base Camp we continue on a rocky path to reach the High Camp, upon reaching the High Camp, we set up our camp have lunch and take a rest. Climbing on rock surface for up to around (5770M) and climb on ice and use ropes make our trip too tough but memorable. Using of rope is depended upon the crevasses and the season. We must follow the instruction of climbing leader, overnight in Loubche Base High Camp.

Day 14

​Summit day-Loubche Peak (6119m) and back to base camp 8 /9 hours.

We start our main mission of this trip early in the morning after breakfast. It is important to reach summit before noon due to the weather. After noon the strong winds in the high lands might becomes a barrier for a successful summit. The way is difficult due to rock and ice so we most use rope according to the instruction of the team leader. Today is our main adventure day, we start early in the morning to climb Lobuche Peak. It takes about 9 hrs at the summit we catch the mesmerizing views of Everest, Lhotse, Noptse, Ama Dablam and many more. When we reach at a top we spend some time at the summit celebrating and taking pictures. We safely descend same day back to Base Camp, Overnight at tented camp.

Day 15

​Base Camp to Pangboche (3930m): 5/6hrs

After summating the Lobuche peak, we then descend to Pangbouche at elevation of 3930m. From Lobuche we trek downhill to Pheriche on the way to Pheriche, we get to enjoy breathtaking views of Mt. Ama Dablam in the distance. We continue to Pangboche from Pheriche through forests of rhododendron and Juniper trees. We can visit the famous Pangboche monastery too in Pangboche, Overnight in Pangboche at guest house.

Day 16

​Reserve day in case of bad weather

If weather is not favorable we have to stay one more day here, otherwise we will continue our journey. Overnight at Guest House. (Meal Included: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

Day 17

​Pangboche to Namche Bazaar: 8 hrs (3440m). Overnight at guest house

After breakfast we start our trip to Namche Bazaar. We steps down to the Imja Khola and up through the forest at Tengboche. We take lunch at Tangbouche. We continue our trek through the hillside covered by rhododendron, juniper and pine trees. Crossing the bridge over the Dudh Koshi River our journey follows the Dudh Koshi Gorge. While passing through the forests we keep look out for wildlife such as mountain goats, snow leopards etc. After passing Chorten we reach at Namche Bazaar, Overnight in Namche Bazaar at guest house.

Day 18

​Namche Bazaar to Lukla: 6-7 hrs(2800m). Overnight at guest house

After breakfast we start our trek to Lukla. The trial descends steeping downwards so we need to walk very carefully. Crossing the river Dudh Koshi and its tributaries the route becomes more natural. After walking of about 7hrs we reach to Lukla, Overnight in Lukla at guest house.

Day 19

​Lukla to Kathmandu (1300m). Overnight at hotel

We are ready for flight to Kathmandu after breakfast. We catch an early flight to Kathmandu after a long mountain journey. When we arrive in Kathmandu we can take rest or do shopping. Our guides can help to visit in Kathmandu. There will be a farewell dinner, overnight in Kathmandu at hotel.

Day 20

Final departure

Missing the adventure you are ready for departure heading towards your hometown. Your adventure in Nepal comes to an end today. A representative from CORE TREK will take you to the airport, approximately 3hrs before your flight scheduled.
