Lower Dolpo Trek is another exciting trekking destination for adventure seekers in Nepal. The Lower Dolpo Trek lies in the less explored western region of Nepal and the trekkers will have a wonderful chance to explore the unexplored region of Dolpo. The lower Dolpo Trek was recently opened for the trekkers and until 1990 it was a restricted area. The main attraction of the lower Dolpo Trek is the the main popular She-Phoksundo national Park. The lower Dolpo Trek passes through several fantastic mountains, Buddhist monasteries and the hordes of yak all of which make for a great destination for adventure.
Lower Dolpo Trek has its own charm, people here still lead a primitive life, yet they are friendly. This is also one of the few areas where pre-Buddhist Bon Po religion is still practiced. The trail goes over the three high passes, the Kagmara La, Baga La and Numa La passing the deep- blue tranquil.  Shey-Phoksundo lake and finally concludes at Juphal descending the gorge side path of Tarop Khola.
We start of Lower Dolpo Trek from Juphal, after two small flights to Nepalgunj on day and to Juphal on second day. Trekking through nice village in the beginning and through high remote alpine area and passes later and finally come to beautiful Shey-Phoksundo Lake. From here we will trek back to Juphal again with different route where we catch flight to Kathmandu. Experience the high altitude tundra rocks and the microclimate of Lower Dolpo and Phoksundo with the cold air of the glaciers of Kanjiroba.

The best months for Lower Dolpo Trek are March to May and September to November. Considered best to trek during the spring and autumns in Nepal, Lower Dolpo Trek is a moderately challenging trek that is operated in Full Board Basis.
