Arrival in Kathmandu [1,300m/4,264 ft]
The first day of the Manaslu Camping Trek, our representative will be there at Tribhuvan International Airport to receive you and offer our warm welcome. By means of our private vehicle, we will drop you to the Hotel where we will be offering our best hospitality services and best men to look after your comfort.
Kathmandu: Sightseeing and Trek Preparation
Good Morning! With the rise of the Sun, we will provide you breakfast and be prepared for sightseeing at various UNESCO’s heritage in Kathmandu, the city of temples. Our representatives will take you to Bouddhanath Stupa, Pashupati Nath Temple, Kathmandu Durbar Square and other near popular sites which are culturally and emotionally attached to Nepalese people. Boudhanath is a sacred place of Buddhist whereas Pashupatinath is of Hindu devotees. Also, you can explore the damage done by 2015 earthquake in Nepal by sightseeing Kathmandu Durbar Square where repair and maintenance work is being carried on. After sightseeing the whole day, we will return back to the Hotel and it’s time for the trek preparation. Please feel free to ask us, as you are our one of the most valued customers.
Drive from Kathmandu to Baluwa[750m/2460 ft]
The third day, we will take a Journey from Kathmandu to the west in Baluwa, Gorkha district. The drive takes about 6-9 hours. You might notice the varied topographies of Nepal along with beautiful hills and raging rivers.
Baluwa to Barpak [1915m/6,281 ft)
On the fourth day, we will start the real adventurous journey in the land of Manaslu. We will head towards Barpak, the epicenter of 2015 mega-earthquake of Nepal. We need to carry 5-6 hours to reach the Barpak. Overnight at local guesthouse and camping.
Barpak to Laprak [2200m/7,216ft]
Continuing our trek, we will move towards the north to Laprak that needs 5 to 6 hours of time to be taken. The trail offers the scenic landscapes that will definitely make your day more beautiful. The green forest and the views of white Himalayan ranges are the assets of the journey.
Maccha Khola to Jagat [1410m/ 4625 ft)
The next day, you will trek towards Jagat from Machi Khola, one of the beautiful raging rivers. To reach there, it needs 6 to 7 hours of trek. Often the trails are remote and unspoiled.
Jagat to Deng [1,804m/5917 ft)
The way to Deng is rocky and the trail passes through Budhi Gandaki gorge and Deng Khola and the environment is filled with pine forest and grassy slopes. The journey requires 6 to 7 hours of trek. And stay overnight in Deng with camping.
Deng to Namrung [2630m/8626 ft)
This day, we will cross the suspension bridge over Budhi Gandaki to reach Namrung and the trails are mostly occupied by Rhododendron forests. The trek needs 5 to 7 hours of journey and overnight we stay in Namrung.
Namrung to Samagaon [3530m/11,578 ft]
Keep exploring the natural beauty including the fast-flowing rivers, gorges and dense forest as you head towards Samagaon from Namrung.
Samagaon to Pungyen gompa return to Samagaon
The day is to explore the renowned Pungyen Gompa where you can explore the ancient Buddhist culture and heritage. For sure, the day will be unforgettable for rest of your life. After exploring the Pungyen Gompa, we will return back to Samagaon and stay the night over there.
Samagaon to Samdo [3860m/12,660 ft]
Today, we will head towards Samdo which is quite close to Manaslu Base Camp. During the 6 to 7 hours of trek, you will find several Buddhist shrines and Mani walls.
Rest Day in Samdo
Sometimes, rest reenergizes our body and help us to complete the remaining job. Therefore, we will take the 12th day as a rest day. You will be offered with best hospitality and services from our local representatives. We all the team can have fun together and enjoy the day.
Samdo to Dharamsala/Larkya B. C. [4460m/14, 628 ft)
After the rest day, the journey continues north towards Larkya B. C. ( Dharamsala) and spent our night over there.
Dharamsala to Larkya la [5160m/16, 924 ft] to Bimthang [3720m/12, 201 ft]
The next day after breakfast in Dharamsala, we will move to Bimthang passing through Larkya la. The day is the most challenging and adventurous as it is not an easy job to pass Larkya La easily. We will spend the night in Bimthang.
Bimthang to Tilije [2300m/7544ft]
On the fifteenth day, we will move forward to Tilije passing through Sangure Kharka and Karche. The trails are surrounded by the Rhododendron forest with the majestic views of giant mountains including Mt. Manaslu, Himlung Himal and Lamjung Himal. Overnight we will stay in Tilije. The trek requires 5 to 6 hours of walk.
Tilije to Tal [ 1700m/ 5576] 5-6 hours
Passing through the Rhododendron forest, we will reach Tal from Tilije on the 16th day. The trek requires 5 to 6 hours to be accomplished.
Tal to Bahundanda [1310m/4296 ft]
Know that, we have completed our destination and are returning back and you need to walk down and down towards Bahundanda, a village where you can see “Unity in Diversity” a people from the different ethnic background are found living together here.
Bahundanda to Besisahar [760m/2492 ft]
Passing along the main trail, we will walk downwards to Besisahar from Bahundada. The night we will spend in a local tea house.
Besisahar to Kathmandu [1300m/4264ft]
The day is to leave the Manaslu region and head back to the capital city i.e. Kathmandu. We will drive you through the Prithivi highway with the magnificent greenery scenes from the highway. We will be looking after all your lunch and other arrangements. And finally, we will reach back to Kathmandu. Still, you will get some additional time during which you can go for shopping as a memory from Nepal and Mustang Camping Trek.
The day of Departure
