The journey of Pisang Peak Climbing begins with a long drive (about 8hours) to Besisahar(850m) from Kathmandu. The trail passes through local villages and rafting rivers culturally rich places, following the trekking route of Annapurna circuit. Pisang Peak rises above from Pisang Village and Yak kharka. To reach the base camp from Pisang Village the path ascends through scattered woods and pastures (4380m) which is considered the best place for setting up the Base Camp. High camp is set up at (5400m). There will be snow at the high camp from the end of November to the end of March. The well defined ridge leads to the final snow slop which is quite steep and more technical to reach the summit, vastly contrasting flora and fauna towards majestic peak of Mt. Manasalu and lamjung Himal. Descent is made on the same route. The descent is equally wonderful due to variety of ethnic Nepalese cultures, oak and pine forests and emerging in to high desert country at Manang(3597m). breathtaking views of Annapurna range varied ecosystem, culture an ever changing landscape, green pady fields oak forests, high land deserts and the deepest gorge in the world make Pisang Peak Climbing one of the most famous trek in the world.

Spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) are the best seasons for Pisang Peak Climbing. Although the trip can be taken during winter, the cold temperature might not be suitable for everyone. Trekking in summer or monsoon (June, July and August) will be affected by rain.
