Sikkim and Darjeeling are one of the most interesting and beautiful small state of the India which is nestled between Nepal, China and west Bengal of India.
Sikkim, Darjeeling and Kalimpong are the three famous Himalaya regions in north- east India. From Darjeeling it takes about 4 hours to reach Gangtok to Sikkim. The drive from Darjeeling to Sikkim is on a winding up- hill mountain road with the views of scenic hills. There are also some well known Buddhist pilgrimage sites in Darjeeling and Sikkim, Sikkim also being famous for its monasteries and Buddhist lifestyle.
Mountain of Sikkim is famous for its rhododendron and orchids flowers, which blooms in spring. The Kanchanjunga range in the west and several snow- capped peaks to the north makes Sikkim a special place for tourist. It is rich in cultural heritage with mixed of lepcha, Bhotia, limbus and many other Nepalese ethnic groups.
Darjeeling is the spot of this trip is internationally known for its tea industry. Situated in North east India, just south of Sikkim, Darjeeling provides the perfect ambiance of a hill resort with its mild climate.

Arrival in Sikkim
After your arrival in Sikkim, one of the members will be greeted to you and our tour to Sikkim and Darjeeling begins. Stay night in the hotel.
Today early morning after taking breakfast we make our excursion at Tashi view point, near about 8km from Gangtok. Amazing view of Khanchendzonga and the Siniolchu range is the main attraction of this point. Driving little distance north, Sikkim monasteries along the north Sikkim highway are also visible from this point. After taking short excursion, we return back to the hotel for breakfast.
After breakfast we will visit Directorate of Handicrafts and handlooms established by government to promote the manufacturing and selling of authentic and traditional arts and handicraft; shawls and blankets in “Lepcha” weaves, thankas, wooden decoration etc. Then we will visit Enchely monastery. it is said that this small hermitage was built by Lama Druptob karpo after he flew at this place from Maenam hill in south Sikkim more than 200 years ago. Then next visit is to at Research institute of Tibet logy, a world- renowned research center for Tibetan Buddhism. In this institute showcase there are rare collections of antique like statues, antic manuscripts, thangkas etc. And in the evening we will visit Rumtek monastery which lies near about 24km from Gangtok. The 1st monastery was built in 1717 by Chogyal Gyurmed Namgyal, and it was destroyed by the earthquake. And Gyalwa karmapa constructed the second monastery in 1960. Stay night in the hotel.
Transfer to Darjeeling
After taking breakfast, we will move towards to Darjeeling from Gangtok- Darjeeling is known as “the queen of hills”. After arriving at Darjeeling we check in hotel and stay overnight.
We start our day with short excursion to tiger hill at early morning to see the view of sunrise over. Mt. kanchendzonga then return back to the hotel. On the way we will visit Yiga- Choling, then, we will take breakfast after it we stroll around Darjeeling for sightseeing on following day, we will visit Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, inhabited by rare representative of Himalayan fauna; Siberian tiger, Himalayan back bear, red panda, snow leopard and many more other animals and bird species. Then our next visit will be at Himalayan mountaineering institute, Tibetan Refugee self- help center, also known as a major center for the production of Tibetan carpets, woodwork and leather goods and famous tea garden and tea factory of Darjeeling.
Today is our last day of our Sikkim and Darjeeling tour. So after taking breakfast we will move to Bagdogra airport to take our flight.
