Arrival in Kathmandu
A warm welcome to you, here in Nepal. Our representative will be standing at the Tribhuvan International Airport to receive you. By means of our private vehicle, you will be dropped to the Hotel where we will be looking after your comforts. You can either rest or visit the nearby tourist place, Thamel of Kathmandu. Over the night, we will stay in the Hotel and you will be offered a grand dinner hosted by Core Trek.
Kathmandu: Sightseeing and Trek Preparation
The second day, we will go for sightseeing several popular places of the capital city like Pashupatinath Temple, Bouddhanath Stupa, Kathmandu Durbar Square and so on. Our experienced guide will help you explore these heritages which are listed in UNESCO world heritage list. After sightseeing, we will return back to the Hotel and it is the time to be prepared for the trek. Make the best arrangement of trekking gears and if you encountered any problems, please feel free to call us.
Drive from Kathmandu to Soti Khola
The third day, we will head towards west from the Kathmandu to Soti Khola. The journey in the private vehicle takes around 8 to 9 hours along the Prithivi Highway.
Soti Khola to Maccha Khola
The fourth day, after breakfast, we will carry our beautiful journey to Maccha Khola where the trails is followed by amazing raging rovers. We will spend the night in Maccha Khola.
Maccha Khola to Jagat
The next day, we will follow a 6 to 7 hour of an exciting trek to Jagat. Along with the wild greenery forest, the trekking trails make us move up and down.
Jagat to Philim
On the sixth day, we will head for a short trek to Philim that normally requires 3 hours to be accomplished.
Philim to Chumling
Passing through the astonishing surrounding along the secluded trekking trails, we will take 6 to 7 hours of walk to reach Chumling. We will spend the night over there.
Chumling to Chokhangparo
The eight-day is going to be little more challenging as we head towards the north at higher altitude for a trek of 5 to 6 hours from Chumling to Chokhangparo.
Chokhangparo to Nile via Milarepa Cave
Let’s move for another exciting day where we will move to Nile passing through Milarepa cave. The ancient cave is known as a Buddhist holy land where the great Tibetan Buddhist philosophe Vajrayana Mahasiddha spent many years living in the cave during the eleventh century. We will spend the night in Nile.
Nile to Bhajyo (Chhekya)
After breakfast, we will move for a short trek on the tenth day of Tsum valley & Manaslu camping trek. The trekking trail will make us reach to Bhajyo (Chhekya) within 4 hours of walk.
Rest at Bhajyo (Cheekya)
The mesmerizing natural beauty with the stunning landscape along with the fascinating panoramic view from Bhajyo is something that cannot be bounded by the limited words. On the eleventh day, we are taking a short rest and giving a pause to our journey. This is the moment to get reenergized and relief all the tensions.
Bhajyo to Rachen Gompa
The next day after the break, we will head towards the Rachen Gompa, one of the popular Buddhist ecclesiastical fortifications of learning destination of the region. By being there, you can explore the Buddhist learning and culture that are highly influenced by Tibetan culture.
Rachen Gompa to Chumje
We will move forward to Chumje from Rachen Gompa on the thirteenth day of our journey. This day we will carry a 5 to 6 hour of the trek along with the remote and secluded trails.
Chumje for Bihi
Om this day, we take the northern route in the lower Tsum valley to reach Bihi passing through Dorjon Kharka and Rana. We will cross a suspension bridge over Budhi Gandaki river and overnight we will stay in Bihi.
Bihi to Namrung
On this day, we will start to walk over the flat trails and gradually we will start to make an uphill climb. We will reach Namrung after 6 hours of walk passing through the dense forest. As you reach there, it is time to turn your camera on for taking the snap of stunning Himalayas range including Mt. Manaslu.
Trek from Namrung to Lho
Our next destination is Lho, a Buddhist region that can be reached by 4 hours of steep climb walk. The trail passes through dark forests and gives us the wonderful view of Ganesh Himal (7,422 m). Over the night, we will enjoy at the campsite at the top.
Trek from Lho to Samagaon
Following one of the small tributaries of Budhi Gandaki, we will pass through the forests and take a short climb to a plateau. The fascinating scenery of Himalayas range including Ngadi Chuli, Himal Chuli, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal along with glacier around us will definitely make the day really awesome. And finally, we will reach to Samagaon, the land inhabited mostly by Tibetan people. The village is culturally rich and there you can visit a Monastery from where the entire valley can be watched at a glance.
Trek from Sama to Samdo
This day, our journey will make us take the Larkya la trail and move towards Samdo. There we can find a small village of 40 houses. We spend the night over there at an elevation of 3860 meters.
Samdo - Dharamsala/Larkya B. C
Starting from the Samdo, we will cross a bridge over the river and head towards Larkya glacier. We will cross the valley and reach the Dharmashala where we will spend the night.
High Camp – Bimthang
On this day, we will head to Bimthang that requires y to 8 hours of walk. The trail offers us the magnificent views of Kanggru, Himlung, Cheo and Annapurna.
Trek from Bimthang to Tilije
On this day, we pass through the valley of Burdin Khola that is surrounded by rhododendron forests. Then we will be at Gho and finally, we will reach Tilije. This day, the trek takes 5 to 6 hours of time.
Tilije to Tal
On this day, we proceed towards Tal and to reach there, we have to walk along the trekking trail of Annapurna Circuit. As we reach the Marsyangdi River, it’s time to cross it through a wooden bridge. And finally, the trail will take us to the village of Tal.
Tal to Bahundanda
Remember that, we are now returning back from the destination. On this day, we will head towards Bahundanda which takes 6 to 7 hours of trek.
Bahundanda to Besisahar
We are moving down to the south to Besisahar where our trek comes to an end. Besisahar is mostly dark and shadowy place and we’ll be spending the night over there.
Besisahar to Kathmandu
Along the Prithivi Highway, we will return back to the Kathmandu by means of a private vehicle. As you reach Kathmandu, you can rest at the hotel or go for a shopping nearby markets.
The day of Departure
Our representative will drop you off at the Tribhuvan International Airport. It’s time to say “Good Bye!” and thanks for choosing Core Trek as your trekking partner.
