The Tsum valley is situated in the Northern Gorkha district of Nepal, surrounded by the Buddha Himal and Himal chuli to the west Ganesh Himal to the south and Sringi Himal to the north. Tsum valley trek is one of the eight sacred valleys in the inner Himalayas.  The Tsum valley trek is ideal for those who want to explore the remote and less trodden valley on fully camping trek in Nepal which was opened for trekkers only in 2008.
Tsum valley trek in the around valley of Tsum, you have good experience the traditional welcome of the Tsum people. On the way we can have the traditional Tibetan tea (butter tea) and local meal. The people here are origin from the Tibet and they are very friendly and hospitable in the nature and follow age- old lifestyle and their culture.
The Tsum valley trek is remote and spectacular than many with rough steep tracks and less than luxurious accommodation. The remote Tsum valley trips is the absolute highlight with strong, friendly, hospitable people, a living Buddhist culture and untouched wildlife because of Buddhist prohibitions on hunting. Tsum word comes from the Tibetan word “Tsombo” which means vivid. It is one of the hidden valley trek which Padmasambhava blessed as refuges to be discovered when the planet s approaching destruction and the world becomes to corrupt for spiritual practice.
Trek in Nepal for Tsum valley does not require past experience, though we have challenging route in Everest compared to Annapurna our Itinerary suggests to walk comfortable distances. Trekking in Himalayas always takes us to challenging altitudes and rocky routes demands proper rest time and acclimatization to significant risk when trekking on any trails above 2,500m, however good health, proper care and drink plenty of water will keep us far away from altitude sickness.
Tsum valley trek begins from Arughat and the trail goes by the meandering Budhi Gandaki River until it reaches the first higher levels of Tsum valley with super vistas of the Ganesh Himal and other surrounding peak.
Best season for Tsum valley trek are March to May and September to November is the best trek seasons for the trekking and mountaineering for Tsum valley trek. And the cost for Tsum valley trek depend on the group, size and cost will be calculated according to the days. But we will afford you a reasonable price from our Core Trek.
