Yala peak is in the Langtang Himalayan Range near border of Tibet at the elevation of 5732meters. Yala Peak Climbing is one of the lowest trekking peaks and the easiest in Nepal.

The journey of Yala Peak Climbing begins with a long drive (about 8hrs) to Sybru Besi (1462meters) from Kathmandu. The trail passes through culturally rich places, following the trekking route of Langtang valley and Kyangjin Gompa. Yala peak climbing starts from Sybru Besi (1462meters) about 8 hrs drive from Kathmandu and hiking up the beautiful Langtang valley. Kyangjin Gompa (3800meters) is situated below Langtang Lirung (7246meters) and the journey towards Kyangjin Gompa offers breathtaking views of kyangjin Gompa, the dramatic ice fall flowing from Langtang Lirung and Langtang Kinshung in the north. We acclimatize in Kyangjin Gompa. The trail passes through Tamang villahges, rhododendron forests, glacier and finally the base camp of yala Peak. We establish base camp on a meadow at 4400meters and the trekking includes many more breathtaking views of Ganchenpo, Naya Kang, Yala peak and others and we climb yala Peak the next day. The way is difficult due to rock and ice so we must use rope ice axe and others goods which make our climb easy. From the summit we can see Shishapangma (8406meters), Gangchempo (6388meters) and many mores peaks, after summit of  Yala peak with CORE TREK professional trekking guide will be taken to direct trek to Kyangjin Gompa our destination of this day.

The weather is sunny and warms with outstanding views. Spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) are the best seasons for Yala Peak Climbing. Although the trip can be taken during winter, the cold temperature might not be suitable for everyone. Trekking in summer or monsoon (June, July and August) will be affected by rain but summer trek could be a boon for a keen botanist.
