Everest is one of the most famous adventurous places on earth. Thousands of tourists visit here each year to savor the beauty and thrill of the Everest. The place is mostly famous for trekking to Everest Base Camp or peak expedition to the Himalayas and it take a lot of physical effort in doing so. There is joy in doing that and that's something we recommend for anyone who wants to visit Nepal or visit Everest region. However, if you're someone who doesn't have the desire to take upon the strenuous journey or maybe you just don't have enough time yet still want to savor the taste of the mighty Himalayas from up close and be on the foothills of the Mount Everest then this is the perfect package we've designed for you.
The Everest Helicopter Tour gives you a unique aerial perspective of the Great Himalayas and the world's tallest peak, the Mount Everest. We begin our helicopter tour to Everest early in the morning after a company representative will come to pick you up at your hotel. We then head towards the Tribhuvan International Airport Domestic terminal towards our helicopter base. We begin our journey towards the Everest region after taking off from Kathmandu towards Lukla's Tenzing-Hillary Airport. The flight to Lukla from Kathmandu is really something as the scenic views of the Himalayas can be seen underneath as we fly by. We fly close towards the Base Camp and land at Kala Patthar (5555m) for the sunrise view of the mighty Mount Everest and other summits around it. The view of Everest from Kala Pathar is mesmerizing and exquisite as the sun splashes the glitters of gold on the face of the summit of Mount Everest. It is one of the best places to immerse yourselves into the beauty of the Great Himalayas. After spending some time at Kala Patthar and getting that perfect picture for the next profile picture, we head towards Everest view hotel at Syangboche. This Everest hotel is a landmark in itself as this hotel holds the record of being a hotel situated at the highest altitude on earth. We stop by this hotel for a breakfast which is a luxury and pleasure as it is the only experience on earth which can't be found anywhere else.
We can also see some amazing bird eye views of the Sherpa settlements as we fly over. After finishing our breakfast, we then head back towards the Lukla airport and after refueling the copter, we fly back towards Kathmandu. We enjoy the beautiful Himalayan ranges for one last and after about 45 minutes of flight from Lukla, we reach back to Kathmandu. We will drop you off at your hotel as we come to the end of the trip. This is quite a short trip which will take a total of about 4-5 hours. The heli flight to Everest is something you'll always remember and it'll be quite an impressive story to brag about. However if you want to enjoy the Heli tour to Everest along with trekking, we also have a package that includes a 11 day trek to Everest Base Camp and fly back to Kathmandu via Helicopter.
