The honeymoon tour in Nepal is a delightful opportunity to spend such a wonderful event in the lap of the Himalayas.
The 10-day tour includes beautiful heritage hotels, mountain resorts located in a quiet and peaceful environments for relaxation. You will start your tour with an hour long scenic Mountain Flight which gives preferably the best viewing experience of the mountain range. After the flight, our next destination will be Bhaktapur Durbar Square. The square emphasizes ancient architectures and structures. It is never a bad time admiring the origin of fine arts.
The Honeymoon trip in Nepal also takes you to Pokhara, the most beautiful city in Nepal. Most of its spark comes from being located on the lakeside where the surrounding is romantic, especially at night. Fewa Lake is the main attraction of the place which is perfect for some quiet time on boating. Besides that, Davis Fall, Gupteshor, Bindabashini Temple, World Peace Stupa and Tibetan Refugee Camp are some of the major attraction of Pokhara.
After spending some quality time in Pokhara, our next destination will be Chitwan National Park, located in the southwestern part of Nepal. The park has more than 700 species of wildlife and extends up to 952.63 sq. km making the park ideal for jungle safari. While in Chitwan you will get to see some of the rarest animals in Nepal such as One-horned Rhinoceros, Bengal foxes, Leopards, striped Hyenas and many more.
Once we are done taking pictures of beautiful mountains and touring the national park. We retrace our way to visit UNESCO Cultural Heritage Sites of Katmandu such as Patan Durbar Square, Bauddhanath Stupa, and Swayambhunath. Trip Itinerary of Honeymoon Tour in Nepal
Arrival in Kathmandu & Transfer to the Hotel
One of our representative from CoreTreks will pick you up from the airport and take you to the hotel. The hotels are three-star or above based on your preferences. We will have a brief session about our trek and a little bit of sightseeing or shopping around the streets of Thamel. The overnight stay will be at the hotel.
An hour mountain flight after lunch visit to Bhaktapur Durbar Square then back to Kathmandu Hotel
On this day, we will be heading for the mountain flight which will be an hour long. Expect for some breathtaking aerial views of the great Himalayas including Everest, Annapurna, Dhaulagiri massif, Kanchenjunga and more. Enjoy the closer experience to the mountains that lies beyond one’s imagination. After breakfast, we will drive towards Bhaktapur which is considered to be one the oldest religious destination that conserves the art and culture of Newar community in Nepal. We will visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square, explore some of the finest architectures. Then, Our overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Flight to Pokhara, Overnight stay at Pokhara
Today we start early since we have a long drive to Pokhara of about 7 hours. After having our breakfast, we start our drive. Enjoying the curved highways and beautiful scenery as we head outside the valley. The drive to Pokhara is somewhat thrilling experience in itself. There will be several break stops before finally arriving to Pokhara. The drive is pretty exhausting, so we spend the night at the hotel.
Visit to Sarankot & Sightseeing in Pokhara
Early morning drive to Sarankot from the hotel in order to see the sunrise. The driving is approximately 45 minutes to reach Sarankot. After enjoying our morning with beautiful panoramic view of the mountains we get back to the hotel. After breakfast, we prepare for the Pokhara tour. Pokhara contains numerous tourism destination and is widely famous among the locals too. Davis Fall, Gupteshor, Bat Cave, Bindabishini Temple, World Peace Stupa and Tibetan Refugee Camp are some of the major destination within Pokhara that we will be visiting to. Our overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Flight to Bharatpur from Pokhara
Today we will be flying to Bharatpur, the district headquarters of Chitwan. After having breakfast we will head to the airport for our flight to Bharatpur. The flight will be about 20min long. Upon landing in Bharatpur, we will explore Chitwan for the day. Our overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Whole Day Jungle Activities in Chitwan
We start our day with some delicious breakfast and prepare for the jungle activities. Chitwan National Park offers a wide range of activities including Elephant Back Safari, Jeep Safari, canoe ride, cultural programs and visit to Elephant Breeding Centre. Jungle safari is an incredible opportunity to encounter rare animals and birds of Nepal such as Bengal tigers, one-horned Rhinoceros, Leopards, Bengal foxes, Honey Badgers and striped Hyenas. On the other hand, people love bathing with elephant so if you are interest we can go for elephant bathing as well. After such a long day of playing with elephant, taking pictures, and walking, we end our day with some Nepali cuisine. Our overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Flight to Kathmandu from Bharatpur (Chitwan)
Today after the breakfast we will prepare for flight from to Kathmandu. The flight to Kathmandu from Bharatpur will be about 20 mins but we will prepare early so that we will have enough time. Upon reaching Kathmandu, we will head towards the hotel for the overnight stay.
Sightseeing in Kathmandu 3 places
(Patan Durbar Square, Pashupatinath, & Bauddhanath Stupa)
After having our breakfast, we drive for around half an hour to Patan Durbar Square. The square is situated at the center of the city of Lalitpur. The palace is an attraction to many due to the fact that royal Malla Kings used to reside there. Besides that, the square is also a marvel of Newar architecture. Krishna Mandir, Bhimsen Temple, Bhimsen Temple, etcetera are some of the temples that we will be visiting.
Then we drive to the famous Pashupatinath temple. Located at 3km northwest of Kathmandu, Pashupatinath is one of the eight UNESCO Cultural Heritage Sites of Kathmandu Valley. The temple reflects cultural, religious, and spiritual belief of the Hindu religion. People from all over the world come to get blessings from Pashupatinath.
After successful visit to Pashupatinath, we head towards Bauddhanath Stupa. Rich in Buddhist symbolism, the stupa is considered the largest stupa in Nepal. It is located on the eastern side of Kathmandu. The place is an important pilgrimage for Tibetan Buddhists as well as local people. Then we head back to hotel to spend the night after such a long and tiring day.

This day is especially reserved for optional touring. On this day, you make the decision. Whether you want to experience cable car ride to Chandragiri or relax inside the Garden of Dreams, it’s all up to you. Better yet, you could enjoy the day touring and shopping around Thamel Bazaar. We end the day with a delightful farewell dinner. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Symptoms of Altitude Sickness may start once you reach 1500-2000 meters and upwards. If you gain altitude rapidly without letting your body adapt to the thin oxygen at higher altitudes, you are most likely to suffer from Altitude Sickness. But if you plan for acclimatization days to your itinerary, you are good to go.
The itinerary includes acclimatization days to avoid Altitude Sickness. The sickness is common at high altitudes. Please note that sickness is a topic to be taken very seriously. Here are some few extra preventions:
- Avoid climbing rapidly, give your body some time to adjust
- Drink more water, not less than 5 liters a day
- Eat more, eat often, and eat healthily
- Listen to your body, do not ignore symptoms
- Do not skip acclimatization days
- Be prepared in case of an emergency
Safety and Security
A comprehensive Travel Insurance is mandatory while trekking with CoreTreks. However, there are a few measures that you can implement to ensure safety:
- Secure your belongings
- Do not flash cash or jewelry
- Have an emergency plan
- Do not trek alone
- Only choose authorized trekking agencies
CoreTreks will provide you with the essentials such as a Down jacket, four seasonal sleeping bags, a duffle bag, a t-shirt, a trekking map, a self-sufficient medical first aid kit, and more. These are to be returned after completion of the trek.
Personal mountaineering gears are not included but we will provide you with a list of equipment necessary for your trek.
On average, walking time per day is 5-6 hours below 3,000m. For altitudes higher than 3,000m the average walking time is 3-5 hours per day. The walking hours may vary according to conditions but do not exceeds 6 hours mark per day.
Hiring a Porter/Guide
An experienced guide will be provided for a group of 1-5. A group consisting of 6-12 individuals will be provided with 2 professional guides. The package also includes a porter for every 2 individuals.
