Langtang Valley with Ganja La Pass Trek In Nepal Overview
The beautiful valley of Langtang region, also known as the "Valley of Glaciers" lies about 70 miles north of Kathmandu. Langtang valley trek is some of the best trekking and tour packages in Nepal that includes mesmerizing destinations throughout the valley. The addition to the Langtang Valley trekking with Ganja La pass trek however is even more exciting and adventurous. Ganja La pass is one of the more difficult Himalayan passes in Nepal with a height of 5132 meters.
Visit to Langtang valley offers unique experience and opportunity to explore the Tibetan villages and Tamang villages giving travelers a new perspective of culture of the people of this community. This trek in Nepal also gives a unique chance to explore the wilderness to travelers as traveling in solitude is one of the strong points of this travel package in Nepal. Beautiful ecosystem of flora and faunas can also be observed during this trek adventure in Nepal. The trek in Langtang region however is bit more strenuous as we'll be walking over much higher altitude hence trekkers needs to be skilled and prepared with technical climbing equipment. There won't be any facilities around in the remote passes of the wilderness of the Himalayas and traveling group is to be fully self-sufficient for these few days. The trail follows a valley before reaching toward the glaciated pass where the use of ropes, ice axes, and crampons might be necessary. The Ganja La trail continues south, following the streams and moraines. Towards the north from the pass, the views of the Langtang Lirung and some other snow peaks in Tibet including Shisha Pangma (8013 meters) can be observed.
Travelers are to be equipped with proper equipment and skilled and experienced travel guides are provided by our company, Core Treks, during the travel to Langtang valley and Ganja La pass. The Sherpas and travel guides are the best at what they do and travelers can forget about stressing out they are by your side all the time during your trek in Langtang valley.

I didn’t have much time to prepare in detail, and I wasn’t sure about the weather, so I left everything to the last minute. In the end, everything turned out great! Before the trip, I met with Neem, who helped me buy an eSIM (though Ncell doesn’t work as well in the mountains as Namaste). It’s not as easy to get one in Kathmandu as you might think!I also had a wonderful guide, Bhim, who took care of everything for me, so I didn’t have to worry about a thing. He even bought fruit for me, knowing better which ones were ripe. The choice of teahouses wasn’t fixed in advance, and it was nice that he let me decide — although, even then, I preferred to rely on his experience. In short, the trip was a success, and I truly recommend this company and these people.Agi from UK.Posted on Katarzyna SVerified Amazing experience We would like to thank you very much for organizing a wonderful trip.
