Some parts of the trek might even be tricky and technical especially while crossing the high Himalayan pass. However, our expert and experienced trekking guides of Nepal will always be by your side helping you at every step of the way. Because of the remoteness of the region, there are some parts where we need to set up our own camp. All the equipment and facilities for camping in Makalu trek such as mattresses, sleeping pads, kitchen, and even bathroom tent are set up where we'll be spending overnight for a camp. Our guide and cooks will be preparing all the necessary foods for us as well. The Makalu Base Camp trek permit can be received after sending a request to the Government. I didn’t have much time to prepare in detail, and I wasn’t sure about the weather, so I left everything to the last minute. In the end, everything turned out great! Before the trip, I met with Neem, who helped me buy an eSIM (though Ncell doesn’t work as well in the mountains as Namaste). It’s not as easy to get one in Kathmandu as you might think!I also had a wonderful guide, Bhim, who took care of everything for me, so I didn’t have to worry about a thing. He even bought fruit for me, knowing better which ones were ripe. The choice of teahouses wasn’t fixed in advance, and it was nice that he let me decide — although, even then, I preferred to rely on his experience. In short, the trip was a success, and I truly recommend this company and these people.Agi from UK.Posted on Katarzyna SVerified Amazing experience We would like to thank you very much for organizing a wonderful trip.
