Tamang Heritage Trek Overview
Nepal is a country rich with its culture and traditions flourishing all over the nation. One of the trademarks of Nepal is its diverse cultural variations within a tiny landlocked country. Exploring these profound cultures is a unique experience in itself. Among these many cultures in Nepal, Tamang Heritage is one old and rich Mongolian heritage of Nepal. During our Tamang Heritage trek, we'll be exploring the Tamang villages of Nepal, especially that of the Langtang regions such as Gatlang, Goljung, Chilime, Timure, Briddim, and others as we will be journeying towards the Tibetan border of Nepal.
The people residing in these villages have preserved their ancient cultures and traditions and their unique rituals are beautifully reflected in many of the monasteries, gumbas, chaityas, and Bihars that line the Langtang Valley trek. This also reflects the prevalence of the Tibetan Buddhist culture in Nepal that is followed by the majority of the community in this region. This trekking in Nepal is fairly new to visitors but the cultures and customs of the people of Tamang heritage have remained true to their origins.
This travel package in Nepal for trekking in the Langtang region is not only an excellent exploration of the Tamang heritage culture but also the adoration of majestic Himalayan ranges in the Langtang region. The trail passes the sceneries of the cerulean lakes of Parvathi Kunda and Bhairav Kunda as their crystal water reflects the shimmer of the sun as we move along. The mesmerizing views of Jugal and Ganesh mountain peaks will make you feel alive while getting close to the Tamang culture at the same time.
Travelers will be blessed with the scenic sights of beautiful landscapes and natural environments which are adorned with verdant forest and rhododendron flowers. This region is also a sanctuary to most rare animals on planet Earth such as the Red Panda and Snow Leopard. The profound and unadulterated atmosphere of the Tamang Heritage Trail is truly a joy to the soul.
