Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
The high altitude is one thing which makes Everest Base Camp Heli Trek quite challenging. Although the trail is designed along the well-known routes and the yak trails, the rapidly increasing elevation reaching an altitude of several thousand meters makes it very difficult. Be prepared for walking 6-7 hours a day with your backpack, with it should have valuables, water, extra fleece, and snacks.
The trek can reach such heights up to 5,500 meters and it would bring you to the foot of the well-known Base Camps for climbers. Moreover, on this night, you will at the end of the day stay at an altitude of 5,000 meters or higher in Gorakshep. You do not have to have previous trekking experience; yet, a moderate fitness level would be best, you must be able to walk and adapt to high-elevation conditions.
In contrast to the way up, the return journey will have a helicopter from Pheriche where we will board to avoid the need to walk downhill. It thus make the trek more convenient and efficient as a whole.
To bring the Everest Region travel to an end in short time, the helicopter is operated, of course, and an alternative is always available. For those travelers who cannot trek because of the time constraints, the brief half-day tour allows landing on Kalapathar and breakfast at Everest View Hotel to get a closer view of Everest. Please do feel free to ask us about the question related to Breakfast on Everest Heli Tour in which you are interested. There is also another choice which is to get to Lukla by helicopter for trekkers who prefer trekking. On the other hand, opting for a helicopter ride increases the cost, hence you need to share the helicopter with other people if the cost cannot be met. If possible, you can also request for this option. We will be happy to provide you with more information.
Outshining with exquisite greenery and folk flowers as well as rare plants are the tracks for the trekking. At the same time, you can enjoy magnificent views of majestic mountain peaks and along the way you are surrounded with them.
There cannot be better views on clear skies and sunny days that come from that height. Therefore, there are relatively few cases of postponement and cancellation that happen during Spring and Autumn, as rainfall and snowfalls rarely occur during these seasons.

Everest Base Camp Helicopter Return Trek Reviews
a unforgettable Everest base camp helicopter return trek
From: Poland | On: 12 Nov, 2021
For me who finished the trek to the Everest Base Camp and exited the area with helicopter services arranged by CoreTreks, this experience is not only a once-in-a-life event but also an unforgettable and life-changing journey.
The entire process, from the booking to the trek itself, went very well and was very professional. The staff at CoreTreks was amazing and was very keen to give the right information and to help me with everything I needed.
The trek was quite demanding, but the idyllic views and the awe- inspiring scenery let me forget about that. Sherpa guides were very smart and friendly. Their primary concern was the safety and comfort of everybody in our team and that was true throughout the whole trek.
While the helicopter return was one of the highlights of the trek, it also enabled us to experience the incredible Himalayan scenery from an angle which is possible only from the air. The helicopter ride was thoughtfully coordinated and a delight to be a part of as I looked forward to the end of my trip.
In total, I can say that the CoreTreks company deserves to be recommended to every traveler who is going to hike to the Everest Base Camp. They are a professional and trustworthy company, that puts their clients' level of safety and satisfaction as a priority. If you're searching for the ultimate Nepalese thrill, your end stops in CoreTreks.

4 stars from me
From: Poland | On: 24 Apr, 2019
I give CoreTreks 4 stars. The team were absolutely amazing and helped make my trip to the Everest Base Camp. Even though they claim to have Wi-Fi in Namche Bazaar, they are barely usable.
Everything else besides that is phenomenal. The welcoming people and the mesmerizing views of the Himalayas feels like heaven. I recommend that you book you trip from CoreTreks, they are trained professionals for guiding and helping you out while trekking to the Everest Base Camp.
I recommend CoreTreks
From: United States | On: 25 Oct, 2018
Without the help of the professionals at CoreTreks, it would have been very difficult for me to find a package that included helicopter return from the Everest Base Camp.
They helped me through all the process and equipment I needed before trekking. Basically they did all the hard work and all I had to do was enjoy the trekking. Highly recommended. Check them out once.
A beautiful memory
From: United States | On: 23 May, 2016
I have always wanted to visit Nepal. The dream came true and it was well worth my time and effort. I collected some of my life’s best memories while here.
The people in Nepal are so humble and down to earth, it amazes me to realize that we live in a same plant. The trekking went perfectly without any hassle as I expected. The tour guides and porters were life savers for me as there were no network or maps to navigate in rural areas of Nepal.
However the accommodation was more than what I expected and for that I give it a 5 star rating. I recommend CoreTreks and their hardworking team for you visit in Nepal.
