The Tsum Valley trek of Nepal is one of the most remote Himalayan valleys in the world. The Tsum valley is a beautiful valley that is located in the Manaslu region of Nepal along with the backdrop of the Ganesh Himal range, Buddha range, and the Himchuli range.

This trek in Nepal is a fairly new trekking route of Manaslu region that takes travelers through the remote and isolated Himalayan villages. It was a restricted area of the Himalayas until 2008 but since then the Tsum valley trek has been an amazing trekking trail in Nepal for adventure seekers. The Tsum valley trek elevation mostly revolves around or above 3000 meters stretching from 5 to 7 hours of trek a day.

The Tsum valley trek is filled with several rivers, waterfalls, suspension bridges, fascinating villages, old and ancient gompas monasteries, and a cave called Milarepa's Cave. During this adventurous trek in Nepal, travelers will also be able to witness the magnificent views of Himalayan ranges of Nepal such as Ganesh Himal (7,140m), Himalchuli (7,893m), Churke Himal, and Mount Manaslu (8,163m) which is also the eighth highest mountain in the world. The Tsum Valley Circuit trail also takes us through the Poshyop Glacier. The solitude and wilderness that travelers can immerse oneself into is one speciality of the Tsum Valley trek. This off the beaten trail and the lack of infrastructural facilities for the Tsum Valley has actually preserved the originality and cultural aspects of the Manaslu region of Nepal.

Trekkers to Tsum Valley are also fascinated by the Tibetan culture and remote isolated settlements of the region. The cultural diversity of Nepal and its uniqueness can be experienced by the trekkers during the whole journey to Tsum Valley. Situated in northern Gorkha, the people residing in this Himalayan region are mostly of Tibetan origin that possess and speak in their own unique dialect. The Manaslu Conservation Area, which is a part of our trekking trail to Tsum Valley, is also a home to some wildlife as well as the diverse flora. Some unique wildlife that can be found in the Manaslu Conservation area of Nepal are the Himalayan Thar, Yak and Blue Sheep. Tsum Valley is also a restricted area in Nepal and travelers need special permit for trekking in Manaslu Conservation Area. The Tsum valley trek permit can be received after sending a request to the Government. The travel agencies in Nepal handle all the permits and travel arrangements that are required in order to travel Tsum Valley.

Trek to Tsum Valley is an exciting and adventurous trekking package in Nepal that lets travelers experience the Himalayan wilderness and its isolated settlements. The reasonable cost of Tsum Valley trek also makes this trek one to consider if you're fun of outdoor adventure in the remote valley of Nepal. Your vacation in Nepal will be definitely be worthwhile and memorable if you're planning for the Tsum Valley trek.

Our trip to Tsum valley was a memorable journey for all of us. The thing I loved most about the trip was the monasteries and gompas where monks study. The culture in Nepal is really diverse and fascinating. I now understand why so many researchers visit Nepal.

The exceptional Himalaya range including Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Hiuchuli, and Churke Himal is really extraordinary to experience. The trekking went well. The suspension bridge is really unique even though I was afraid a little bit. However, a wonderful trip overall.

Definitely recommend CoreTreks if you plan on trekking in Nepal. They are a team of really hardworking and dedicated professionals. We booked a little late, but they helped us with everything throughout the whole trip.

My girlfriend and I chose Nepal for our little vacation together. I’m glad that we made the decision to visit Nepal than other countries. Trekking to the Tsum Valley was really amazing experience to have. We really enjoyed our time there. It was really inspiring to be able to trek to the trials of such a beautiful country.

We were fascinated by the beautiful land structures and cultural diversity. The Sherpa settlements were small but really wonderful. They are really welcoming. A lot of people in Nepal are friendly and live in harmony.

The country taught me a lot of things about nature and what we lack to envision in our life. Thanks to CoreTreks for making our trip possible. They helped us to book the hotels and provided us with some of the delicious food.

We were a group of 4 people and we chose Tsum valley trekking in Nepal especially to explore the isolated culture in the Himalayas. We were really surprised by how disciplined and humble they are. People in Nepal are really welcoming and friendly.

It was a memorable trip for all of us. We had been planning this trip for so long that I don’t even remember. I have been to Nepal but this was the first time of me trekking to the Himalayas. The views are really stunning and alive.
